There
are currently
three (3) levels of participation in Supporting Father Involvement.
This allows agencies to begin benefiting from SFI resources in the most
efficient and immediate way possible. As positive impacts are
recognized participating agencies can readily increase and enhance
participation in SFI.
Level
1 (Networking)
For agencies interested in learning more about SFI this includes:
- General
information
on strengthening Father Friendliness
- Access
to web-based
resources, information clearinghouse
- Participation
in
local trainings, conferences
- Preparation
for
future SFI implementation
Level
2 (Father
Friendliness)
Includes all of Level 1 and offers:
- Participation
in
Father Friendliness Organizational Self Assessment (OSA)
- Technical
assistance
integrating practices to increase father involvement in agency
Level
3 (SFI
Fathers and Couples Groups)
Includes Levels 1 & 2 and offers:
- Formal
training on
implementing the fathers and/or couples groups
- Agency
staff training
and technical assistance
- Full
integration of
SFI into agency organizational culture and
operations
- Ongoing
technical
assistance
