Strategies
is a
nationally recognized alliance of professional trainers,organizational
development coaches, facilitators and support staff united by a set
of core values and strategic
approaches. We provide training,
coaching,facilitation, curriculum development, and the practical
application of research and best practices to programs, organizations,
and networks that strengthen families and communities.
Trainings and web resources to assist organizations interested in
implementing Supporting Father Involvement approach are available
through Strategies, with funding from the California Department of
Social Services Office of Child Abuse Prevention and the Stuart
Foundation.
Strategies and the SFI Evaluation and Development Team have partnered
on a statewide dissemination effort in California to share lessons
learned through the Supporting Father Involvement project; offer
support to organizations wishing to implement the SFI groups; and to
help social service and community-based organizations to work more
effectively with fathers. There are three levels of SFI participation
available, to encourage agencies to progressively develop their
Supporting Father Involvement efforts in the best way for their
